Look what happened on a recent trip to the county fair...
Yep, I got up close and personal with a real, live cow.
Not too personal.
Her name was Pansy. When her owner said I could get closer and touch her, I couldn't resist.
I am such a city girl.

I love it.
Great photo.
I love cows! They are friendly and standoffish at the same time. Everytime I ride by a pasture of cows I moo in my helmet. I asked my friends if they do this too and 1 of them does - so I guess that doesn't make me too weird. lol
Hooray for touching cows. I am glad you got to see and touch them at the fair.
We saw a ton of cows this weekend but never seemed to have the opportunity to stop for a pic. I always thought of you when I saw them though.
I have to admit that I am city brat enough to take up on the offer, too and touched the cow.
Thanks, Trace! I thought of you when I saw the goats. Actually, I even grabbed a brochure for you. More on that later...
Brandy, most women would get offended if they heard, "Every time I saw a ow I thought of you!" LOL. My son-in-law asked my daughter about that recently. "Cows make you think of your Mom?" It sounds wrong, for sure, but I know w exactly what you meant. And am honored that you thought of me at all. :-)
Dar, I moo and beep. Sometimes I'm careful mooing. Especially since I don't know exactly what "moo" means. But honking is always fun.
Sonja, it was awesome. She felt just like a big, stuffed, cowhide rug, chair, jacket, etc. :-)
