Abandoned

I've noticed this unidentifiable thing many times as I walked past, but never stopped to take a closer look. It was always just sort of a passing glance. So yesterday, I grabbed the ole point and shoot as I walked out the door figuring I could zoom in and maybe get a solid identification.

I was wrong.

Here's the thing I am speaking of...

This shed is in a yard alongside the Warrenton Branch Greenway, yet another feature in this little town that we love. The trailhead is a mere three blocks from our house, which is awesome. As one guy put it, many folks drive to get to the greenway. We're close enough to walk.

But getting back to that abandoned thing...

The way it is sitting, I can't tell if it's a motorcycle or a moped or some strange conglomeration of the two. I thought maybe I could zoom in with the camera for a closer look.

I did zoom in, but ti didn't help much. The picture is too blurry. Remember, not only did I have the point and shoot zoomed in, there wasn't much light, and I was being towed along...

Of course, they are the reason I was on the greenway at 7:30 AM in 26-degree weather in the first place...

These low-quality images may not have done much to solve the mystery, but they did give me material for day seven of Fuzzy's #29in29 challenge (pic a day for 29 days)of the #29in29 challenge. :-)

Next time, I'll try to remember to take a better camera and wait until the girls are a bit more tired out before I start shooting.

Hmmmmm, wonder what that poor abandoned two wheel critter is. Maybe someday someone will come along and give it a good home and clean it up.

Cute pics of your tow team. Do you ever have the urge to holler "mush' when you walk all three.

It is quite a tow team, isn't it? You should see them at night. Our town is pretty dark, so I have blinky lights on their collars. At Christmastime, people kept calling them reindeer. :-)

I'll to get a better shot of the thing tomorrow.

And the mystery thickens...

Before we got into motorcycling, when our kids were teens, somehow a little Suzuki showed up at our house. It didn't run, and spent a couple of years just leaning against the house.

Looking forward to the mystery being solved!

btw the team is adorable!
